- Heavy-duty Jubilee® Superclamp: Designed for demanding hose connections where a conventional worm-drive clip may not provide sufficient clamping force, band strength or resistance to vibration and movement.
- All-316 stainless steel construction: Manufactured for excellent corrosion resistance in marine, offshore, food-processing, oil and gas, chemical-handling and other aggressive industrial environments.
- Continuous 360-degree clamping: The shaped bridge piece spans the opening beneath the bolt assembly, helping maintain even contact and sealing pressure around the full circumference of the hose.
- Wide, smooth internal band: The unperforated hose-contacting surface distributes pressure across a larger area, helping reduce cutting, pinching and localised damage to reinforced rubber and flexible hoses.
- Closely graduated sizes: Adjustment ranges from 17–19mm through to 253–265mm provide a more precise fit for marine systems, pumps, industrial machinery, suction hoses and delivery pipework.
Jubilee® Superclamp 316 Stainless Steel Heavy-Duty Hose Clamps
Jubilee® 316 stainless steel Superclamps are engineered for demanding hose installations where high clamping force, dependable retention and excellent corrosion resistance are required. They are also known as GBS, barrel-hardware or T-bolt-style clamps.
The all-316 stainless steel construction makes this range particularly suitable for marine, offshore, food-processing, oil and gas and aggressive industrial environments where zinc-plated mild steel or standard 304 stainless steel may not provide sufficient long-term corrosion resistance.
Strong, even hose retention
A wide, smooth band distributes clamping pressure across a larger section of the hose without perforations that could cut into the material. The shaped bridge piece spans the gap beneath the fastening assembly, helping maintain continuous contact around the hose and reduce potential leakage points.
The solid trunnion supports the bolt assembly and allows controlled tightening using the correct socket or spanner. Recommended torque, maximum torque, band width and band thickness depend on the selected clamp diameter.
Typical applications include:
- Marine pumps, hoses and onboard equipment
- Offshore installations and oil and gas equipment
- Industrial suction and delivery hoses
- Food-processing and production machinery
- Pumps, compressors and vacuum systems
- Agricultural, manufacturing and heavy engineering equipment
- Reinforced automotive and machinery hose connections
Selecting the correct size
Measure the outside diameter of the hose after it has been fitted over the pipe, connector or spigot. Select a Superclamp whose adjustment range contains the installed diameter. These clamps have closely graduated adjustment ranges, so accurate measurement is essential before ordering.
Tighten only to the recommended torque shown for the selected size. Excessive tightening may damage the clamp, hose or underlying fitting. Pressure suitability also depends on the hose construction, fitting, operating temperature, fluid, installation method and equipment manufacturer’s requirements.
This product is primarily designed for heavy-duty hose connections. Suitability for rigid exhaust pipes or high-temperature exhaust systems must be independently confirmed before installation.
